I knew if I posted parents' names this would come up. My mom and dad were weird, but not THAT weird. No, my name was not Kelsey Kelsey. As long as I can remember I wanted a new name. When I was in the 1st grade I wrote "Shirley Feeney" on all my papers and even checked books out at the library under that name -- until I got sent to the principal's office. When I was 12 I went to church with a friend and introduced myself as "Jessica Hart", Jennifer and Jonathon being my parents, of course. I was constantly writing new names on my notebooks: Jessica Bennett (pronouced "Beh-nay"), Jennifer Hart, good movie star type names because I was going to Hollywood ya know. In high school my softball coach started calling me "Kelsey" and I thought, "how perky!". It stuck. That was way before the name Kelsey made it to the top of the preppy list for baby names. I was a forerunner even then......HA!
Won't it be cool when we get the new name Jesus has reserved only for us? That makes my heart race! A white stone, a new name.....WOW! Unbelievable! Revelation 2-3 is full of this great stuff!
So, what is ny name?? I'll give you a hint -- my parents loved the Beach Boys.

"Help me!!"
Barbara Ann, you little California girl! (am I close?) :)
Bah, Jen beat me to it.
Kokomo. Kokomo Kelsey. I knew it.
Good guess, Kari. Nope, not Barbara Ann.
OK, OK, I'll tell, my name is T-Bird.
Help me, Rhonda...I mean Kelsey :o)
The secret is out folks -- Rhonda Lee Kelsey. Don't you think Kelsey suits me SOOOOOO much better??
So you're saying it was NEVER Kokomo? It's like I knew you not....
I never would have guessed that your name was anything BUT Kelsey. However being shown a few photos of your little fam...circa 1994....the shock and disbelief cleared. ;)
I was just telling someone the other day that I didn't like the name Rhonda because I had never met a Rhonda I liked. Now I have to shift my whole paradigm! :-D
