Morning Ritual

One of the hardest things for me about fasting is not having breakfast. I am one of those people whose feet hit the floor and head straight for the breakfast bar. This morning I am so happy to be eating, how 'bout you?? (Sorry to all those on the Monday fasting team -- what a bummer.)

I have a ritual that hasn't changed in quite some time. I didn't follow it so much in DC, because the oatmeal was so yummy, but the last year it has been 2 pieces of Ezekiel Sesame bread with peanut butter and a tall glass of Tropicana NOT from concentrate orange juice. Aaaahhhhh -- there is nothing better!!

So what is your favorite wake-up meal?

Either oatmeal or a bowl of cereal big enough to give Jethro Bodine a run for his money....

When the bananas are ripe I stick with dipping my banana in dry pumpkin seed flax granola, cuppa joe and some oj. Yummy.

I have cream of wheat every morning mixed with a mashed banana and honey on the top- sounds like baby food I know, but I am addicted. I aslo have a latte' or coffee with cream...

I'm a sucker for whole wheat toast with avocado and a little salt-n-pepper. It's a staple at our house!
