7th Anniversary Celebration

The way we all partied, you would've thought it was 1999 (well, I guess only if you were alive in the 80's would that have entered your mind). Tonight was one the most fun times I've had at IHOP. With the stories, skits, prophetic history, free coffee and "Hebrew dancing" that turned Greek in just a minute I am wired and ready to do the night watch!

I had so much fun dancing. Rachel Meier pulled me by the arm and said, "C'mon, you're gonna dance with the Falkner girls!" and I'm so glad she did! I think an angel must've touched me because I am walking with a limp. I guess that's the stigma of the anointing -- or just the fact that I am sadly out of shape. Trying to keep up with the 20-year olds isn't as easy as it used to be! I should have done what Mike told all the geezers (those over 30) on the football team -- "take an ibuprofen before you play". No pain, no gain I say. It was worth it. Melody Green pulled me into a dance circle with about a hundred others, then we did the Peanuts thing for awhile because there were so many people it almost turned into a mosh pit. I even saw Shawn Blanc getting into the action! And, sorry Marci, we all had to take our shoes off, but things will get back to normal on Wednesday. (Although I kind of pray NOT......)

Hearing the prophetic history once again has provoked me to want more. Signs and wonders. Healing anointing. Power evanglism. Mass conversions. Stadiums filled. Open heavens. Dreams. Visions. Heavenly encounters. The name of God Most High glorified on the earth as He is around the throne.

Seven years. It's just the beginning, really. Can we even imagine what is ahead?? Tonight I go to bed satisfied and yet groaning. Full of the joy of celebration and friendship, yet longing for the fullness to come. How many more years will we do this? How much longer, O Lord? I don't know the answer, but after tonight I am sure of one thing.....I still BELIEVE. How 'bout you?

OH,I'm so thankful that God placed us here and at this time. Entering labors that are not our own yet at the same pay rate! I too, am filled with anticipation and energy and hope. Here's to the next seven!

I caught bits and pieces of the webcast between meetings and a trip to the grocery store yesterday and was in equal parts entertained (the acronym song had us in stitches!) and inspired. I long with you for the fullness of God! I BELIEVE! Bring it on!

The Acronym Song should be in the new "Acronym For Jesus" Album by Derik Loux!
