It is so good to be home! I got off the plane and went straight to celebrate Zion's birthday. He got to pick where we went (although his choices were limited at 10:30 pm). He choose the Golden Arches and I didn't even complain. I was just so excited to be with all my boys again. After a late night birthday party, we got everyone in bed and I looked around to see what I had to do to the house to make it ready for our Mom's Group in the morning. Funny what boys call "clean".

One of the first things out of Zion's mouth as I asked him to tell me about all his adventures while I was away was, "Since you've been gone all I've eaten in junk food!" I teased him about all the vegetables that he would have to ingest now that I was back and he giggled. Now THAT's a boy who is glad to see Momma! When you laugh about eating green things, it's good to have Momma home. Grayson told me, "Uncle Sean is getting better. He eats a whole lot of junk food, but I think he is getting better." I gut laughed, because he was as serious as he could be. OK, Uncle Sean, you better come clean -- were YOU the one who left the Doritos and Life cereal????

I am back in the swirl of washing dishes in the bathroom, but it couldn't be more grand. Boys are playing out in the sunshine and I am enjoying their laughter. 6 days is way too long to be without them. I did enjoy my time alone - and sleeping in a day or so - and eating whenever I wanted - and playing whatever kind of music I wanted to in the car for 4 hours - and worshipping without little hands tugging on my leg - and going to the coffee shop to study for hours at a time without keeping kids from burning the place down. Yes, it was nice. But it's time to come back to life -- time to give up Misty for Adventures in Odyssey, coffee times for finger paint, flax seeds and fruit for cheesey toast and gummy bears. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Doritos yes (although that was the 2nd bag, which Israel and Danie bought), Life cereal no. I have limits.

I splurged when I was there. Although actually we did fairly well compariatively. I gained 5 pounds, mostly due to lack of excercise and what seems to be a serious lack of fiber.

I missed seeing you but HOW EXCITING!! There was a lady praying here, and I have to relay the intensity. Many of us are waiting for a copy!!!
