I must be God's favorite!

I came home from a prayer meeting that started out with, "God, show us your jasper-like beauty. Break through into the natural realm with the appearance of your throne" (I mean, how does it get any better than that??!!) to a huge card board box sitting on my table. Of course, my curiosity was aroused and I opened it, assuming it was for me, the birthday girl. Low and behold, bouquets of the most beautiful roses on earth! For me! From my most excellent friends in Steamboat Springs (yes, sisters forever) and it made my day even brighter. There were enough roses for TWO vases - they are expxloding with color and fragrance in my dining room and foyer. They will be a reminder of His transcendant beauty and I will take it as a token of answered prayer of sending heaven to earth. They join the display on the buffet that has very cool twigs and stuff in it from the greatest florist in Grandview - "The Hidden Thicket". Well, really from Danielle, our adopted family member who lives in the basement, but I had to mention the florist because they are amazing (no carnations or baby's breath there, folks). My hubbie wrote me the cutest birthday poem ever and my kids are beggin me to break the GBF early to take me out to Chuck E Cheese (it's the thought that counts!). Yep, God really likes me! The only thing that could top the day would be an emerald rainbow showing up in the vicinity of Red Bridge and Holmes. Happy Day!

Happy Birthday, Kels! Hope you have an awesome day. The world is a richer place because of you - for real. Wish I was there in KC so I could take you out to lunch! :-)
